“Distorted realities have always been my cup of tea.” —Virginia Woolf

List of things you're not supposed to think, say aloud, write down or do:
*Take 1500mg of paracetamol and 90mg of codeine because you don't want to live through the next minute, let alone the next hour (9 hours of complete blackness was good, the dry-wretching and intense back pain, less so)
*Check whether doors out to the 5th floor roof are locked
*Decide that it doesn't matter how long your course takes because you don't want to live that long anyway
*Make an extra effort with your lesser friends and FNAPPs so that they have special memories for when you're gone
*Repeatedly scratch your scalp till it bleeds because you can feel little things crawling over your skin
*Research patients rights to refuse treatment
*Fantasise about being admitted to hospital but still believe that nothing will make you better
