why do people think being with someone is the answer to everything?

“No one can pull anyone back from anywhere. You save yourself or you remain unsaved.” ―Alice Sebold

Things to look forward to over the next few months (in chronological order):

-Hiking and swimming at the Prom with Magnus
-Legal counselling session with CASA to file an official sexual assault report against the Poet (I won't let him take advantage of anyone else, ever)
-Young & Well conference with Miss Clare (we both got scholarship places!)
-Neurobiology and Complex trauma conference with the Australian Childhood Foundation
-Finishing CAT therapy with Susie
-Returning to uni with the aim to finish my first year of health science by the end of 2014 (first semester subjects include: professional health care practice, second year psychology and an introduction to Aboriginal Australia)
-Six week creative writing course with CAE
-Church with Miss Clare and family
-Road trip with Clarice Bean at Easter to visit my grandma's grave
-Online shopping spree (say yes to retail therapy?)
-Ongoing work with Kay, my naturopath, to uncover the physiological and chemical cause for my suicidal tendencies (finally someone wants to look at the blades of grass, not just the field!)

“I live in a world where two truths coexist: where both hell and hope lie in the palm of my hand.” —Alice Sebold
