asleep you don’t feel pain or hunger or loneliness, or bitterness.

‘We were born to survive,
together we will stand tall.
Against all odds we will overcome this war.’
—Miss Clare

Things to look forward to:
-Movies, book shops and pie baking with Kit-Cat
-Finishing all assessment tasks for semester 1 of uni
-Going to visit Bubbles and her beautiful kids in rural Victoria
-MIF training to become a (paid!) lived experience public speaker
-Flying to Perth with Miss Clare  for seven days of holidaying and four days of conferencing (I'm really looking forward to craft markets, op-shopping, going to the beach, yummy gourmet food and movie marathons)
-Babysitting L & S, the little boys across the road, a girl from childcare with epilepsy and a little boy whose brother was born stillborn last year...being around kids makes me so happy and when I get paid for it, it feels unreal!
-Celebrating a year since my discharge with character references from all my health care treating professionals (AP, DJM, SH, CB and MP)
-Moving out of Greenmyer Crt and into a proper home
-Organising a Butterfly event on campus
-Relaxing, recuperating and rejoicing

Being both soft and strong is a combination very few have mastered.
